Aaron is 2 Months Old!

Back to School
This was by far the hardest day of my life! I had to go back to school today and drop off Aaron at his new sitters. Mark was coming home from work, so Aaron only had to go until 11:30, but I still had a very hard time. I have left Aaron before to go run errands like to get my hair done, or nails, but I have never left him with anyone but Mark or Olivia. I laughed at Jennifer and Hilary when they told me I would cry, but I took that back. Needless to say, Aaron did survive the day and did ok. Aaron will only have to go a few days for the next two weeks, and I am hoping this will get easier.

Garyn's Graduation Party
One of our good friends son had a graduation party this weekend. Garyn graduated from CCA and is going to TCU! My Alma Mater! We went with Hilary and Brady and had a great time!

John R. Good Boot Camp
Yep! We're sending Aaron to boot camp early. We thought we would get a head start. Just kidding. Olivia and Melanie had their annual Field Day at their school, so we stopped by to check it out. They had the National Guard come out with a tank, Hummer's and other cool vehicles for the kids to sit in. Olivia and Melanie always go so far beyond their duties when it comes to field day!
Aaron and Auntie Terri. Terri was my rock and good friend when I worked at John R. Good, and we have stayed friends!

Dawn, Lauren and Katherine come to visit!
Dawn is a dear friend to our family! I have been keeping Lauren since she was 2 and Katherine since she was born. Dawn and Mark McLain have done so much for us. The girls were so excited when they found out I was having a baby! They came to see us when Aaron was born and then came back Saturday to see him again! Lauren and Katherine will be great babsitters! Here are some pics with them.

Aaron is 7 weeks Old!
Aaron has changed so much this past week. He is really becoming a little boy with an exciting disposition! This week, he has started to laugh and smile more, swat at things, grab toys and focuses on objects. He obviously recognizes Mark and I. When one of us picks him up, he will smile or grin at us. He also has really started to coo and talk to us. During one of his naps, he started trying to suck his thumb, and with a little help from mommy, he accomplished his goal. Aaron has also began to sleep 5-6 hours at night, which is great! This is our last week together and it has been an awesome one!

Aaron's First Visit to Crockett
May 5th
Aaron and I went up to Crockett to visit Coach Boozer, Coach Dowling and the girls! I have been going stir crazy and was very eager for the girls to meet my son. Here are some pics taken by Hilary while I was there. Thank goodness she always has a camera handy!
