Happy Halloween

Ok, it's a little late, I know! I have been so busy that I haven't been keeping up with the blog! Our little man is not a little man anymore, he is growing up way too fast into a little man! He is not potty trained (except for at night) and is sleeping in a big boy bed! I am so proud of him and the angel he is becoming! Yes, he is still 2 and 1/2 and a trying little guy, but I love him just the same. He is amazing and I love him more each day! He was Ironman for Halloween as you can see and we had to go trick or treating at Avery's house of course!!!

Summer 2010

We have been so busy, I know I haven't uploaded any new pics. Here are some fun pics from the summer of out sweet little man. This summer has been crazy. Mark, Olivia, Tony, and I went to Vegas and had a blast. Then we took Aaron to San Antonio to Sea World and the Riverwalk. Aaron had a blast. More pictures to come soon!

Daddy's Firestation Visit

I know it has been a long time, but here are some new pics of our little man. When my summer finally began in July, I decided to take Aaron to the fire station to see Daddy. I thought we could go about 10 and get home by lunch, but I was wrong. We didn't get home until 2:30 or so. Aaron loved it! We hadn't been there to visit in a while. He rode in the fire truck, engine, and begged Daddy to ride the ambulance, but we thought we wanted our little man to stay healthy!!! My summer has been very busy, but Aaron, Daddy and I have been having a wonderful time. We have been going to the water park, fire station, shopping, park, and playing outside a ton!

Haircut!

So this isn't Aaron's first haircut, we all remember that; but this is the first haircut he has sat by himself and not made a fight about it! Miss Niki has cut Aaron's hair 3 times now. He loves to go see her. She has a box of toys and always gives him a sucker for being a good boy. Today, he walked right in, sat in the chair, and smiled the entire time. He has grown up so much. Mark and I learn something new from him everyday! He is so smart, he talks in full sentences, wants to do everything alone, and loves to help with anything Mark, Olivia, or I are doing. He is the light of our lives. The second picture tells it all, he knew that he would get a sucker if he was good!!!

By the way, I guess it could have been the Spiderman cape!!!!!

Aaron is 2!!!!!

Aaron turned two last Sunday! Our little man is getting so big, so fast! Mark and I are enjoying him so much! Aaron has a very large vocabulary and talks all the time. He has the best sense of humor and is the most loving little man in the world! Aaron's party was a Handy Manny Party! His grandma and grandpa got him a huge Handy Manny, life size, Pinata! Aaron and all his friends loved it! Aaron is very in to sports. He runs around the house wearing his football helmet half the time! He loves t-ball, soccer, and football. On Monday, we went to see Dr. Heller for our 2 year check up and he weighed in at 37 lbs. and 39 1/2 inches tall! Yes, I know the size of a 4 year old! We love you Aaron and thank God everyday for bringing you into our lives. You are the most important thing in the world to us! Love you!

Playdate with Avery!

While Mark and Lee went out to play poker, Aaron, Avery, Jennifer, and I had a playdate and ordered pizza! Avery and Aaron had a fabulous time! They played well together and had a blast playing in Avery's bed! Yes, Lee, Aaron and Avery were in Avery's bed with the door shut and the lights off!

Christmas 09

Here is our Little Handy Aaron! Mark, Aaron, and I are so blessed to have such wonderful giving, and loving family and friends. Our Christmas started last week at my Grandfather's house and then it carried over to my house with my parents and my sister's family. Aaron has enjoyed every minute of Christmas this year. He was so anxious to open presents! By the time I would wrap another gift and get it under the tree, Aaron would be trying to open another one! He enjoyed seeing what was in his stocking from Santa (Nana) tremendously! He was very good at giving hugs, kisses, and saying thank you this year! As you all know, we received a very unexpected White Christmas! Here are several pictures from this very long week!

Happy Thanksgiving To All!!!

I will be posting pictures later, but I wanted to update you all on our big guy! Aaron, Mark, and I went to LaGrulla, the Valley, for Thanksgiving again this year. Aaron took his first plane ride and did fabulous! He enjoyed seeing all the family and we are so thankful we got to go.

Also, our little man has started saying some new words. He now says,"Mov you mommy, daddy, or tia," which obviously means Love you!!!! Finally, I thought I was never gonna hear those words come out of his mouth. He also loves to sing and dance! He loves the movie BOLT, and enjoys trains immensely. He now says; truck, big truck, choo choo, outside, big bus, school bus, and many more! Mark and I are so blessed to have this little joy in our lives! Stay tuned for pics!

Our little man is growing up! Wow, I know I haven't updated in a while, but here it is. I have added several new pictures of our cute little man. He is almost 19 months old now and looks as though he is 3. When we went for our 18 month check up, he weighed in at 34.4lbs and was 36 1/2 inches tall. Aaron is becoming even more fun the older he gets! He is putting three and four words together and is so into football and cars it scares me! As you will see below, he is going to be a Longhorn football player for Halloween! Enjoy!

New Favorite Toys!

Mommy and Daddy gave in and bought Aaron his favorite new toys! Could you tell the boy no? Exactly!!! He has seen the vacuum at our friends Amaris and Miguel's house and Avery, Jennifer and Lee's daughter has the shopping cart! When he had play dates there, he absolutely loved them both. We just happen to be at Toys R US and saw them. He plays with them both all the time and loves for you to push one around while he pushes the other! I'm telling you what, he is the light of our lives!

Aaron's New Hobby

Aaron has started enjoying looking through photo albums! He pulls out the photo albums from Vegas, our wedding, and any other albums we have. He sits at his little table and flips through saying, "Mommy, Daddy, Tia." He loves to see pictures of himself! Aaron is changing so much. He is saying several words and there is something new everyday. Now that I am back at school, I miss him tons and hate leaving him in the morning. He hates to get up early, but he does tell me bye and blows me a kiss in the morning!

As you can see, our son continues to love to read! He says REEE!

So, Mark and I got this cute table for Aaron at Ikea that came with 2 chairs. We have had it for a while, but Daddy just got around to putting it together. Aaron's 16 Months Old

Well, as you can tell, we are in need of a major haircut. Aaron is getting so big, so fast and his hair is trying to keep up! I absolutely love the curls all over, but it's time to cut off the mullet(as dad says). He has also added a few words to his vocabulary: home, noni-Tony, nona-Donna, and he blows kisses very well!

15 Months Old!

Excuse the dirty mirror, please!!! But, Aaron is 15 months old. He was cheesin on his 15 month birthday after putting his hat on like that. He normally doesn't keep anything on his head, but he put it on and then went to the mirror to check himself out! Our little man is growing up so fast. He went for his check up and everything was great! He weighs 31 pounds and is already 34 1/2 inches tall! He is growing like a weed. He now says so many words including; dada, mommy, tia, bowbow(dog), bye-bye, thank you, juice, nack(snack), mine, and a few more! He is running all over everywhere and is into everything!

Big Red Hummer

Aaron loves to sit in Tia Olivia's Hummer and pretend to drive. He has really gotten in to turning the steering wheel, pushing all the fun buttons, and closing the doors. He wants to be in the driver seat and wants all the doors closed. He hasn't yet realized it is 100degrees outside!!!

We got Aaron this little beach chair about a week ago and he loves it. He carries it all around the house and loves to sit and read in it. We were getting ready for a bath when he went to the living room and brought it into the bathroom. He plopped right down in it and started reading. Naked Boy

Aaron is growing like a weed. Mark and I are having so much fun with him. He is talking more, hugging now, practicaly running, throwing well, eating well, waving, giving kisses, and much more. Here are some recent pics of him pointing our body parts. Tummy was the first one he learned, but thank God there are not pictures of that. He then moved on to nose and now knows hair and mouth! He is the happiest baby on earth! We are TRULY BLESSED!

Mother's Day 09

We have started as awesome tradition for Mother's Day. Mark, Tony, Olivia, Aaron, and I all go to the horse races. WE had a fabulous day and celebrated the day before due to daddy working, of course! Aaron's Second Easter

Aaron was old enough to really enjoy Easter this year. Unfortunately, like every other holiday, Daddy had to work so Aaron and I went over to Olivia's grandmother's house to have a fabulous dinner and Easter Egg Hunt! Aaron was great at finding the Easter eggs and opening them to see what was inside. Later in the hunt, Aaron bit the concrete and busted his face up. I am sorry, but I was freaked out by the fact that my son was bleeding for the first time and didn't get any pictures. He did survive though and did I mention he is the cutest boy in the world!~

Aaron's 1st Birthday Party

Ok, could it have been any colder! Unfortunately, it was only 45* outside and very windy, until the end of Aaron's party, so our plan to have everyone outside didn't go so great. Anyhow, I think the party went well. We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and family! Aaron had a great time and seemed to be a little overwhelmed with people, especially when he grabbed his burning candle!!! I think everyone had a great time and look for your thank you cards in the mail!

Aaron sure does love his cousin Jake! He and Jake played forever with the fire truck. I really wish they lived closer to us!

Aaron is 1 YEAR OLD!

Mark and I can hardly believe it. Our little man is 1. He is walking everywhere, trying to run, he is in to everything and tries to do everything alone. He is getting good with a fork, great with a sippy cup, and very interested in laundry! He loves to unfold it when I have folded it and he loves to get it out of the basket when it is clean. I cannot believe it was a year ago that I had this little man. He is the most amazing person I have ever met and is so wonderful to be around. Aaron is the happiest baby ever and has the sweetest smile! Katy, at Kiddie Kandids took these pictures. Aaron loves her and does very well when she takes his picture!

Fun Pics

I know I say it every time, but Aaron is getting so big! He is starting to really walk, talk, and show his personality. We are having so much fun with him. Here are some pictures I took of him tonight. He loves to stand up and ride in the buggy at the stores. Also, unfortunatley, we had to give Dixie a new home, but Aaron and Bailey are very close. Aaron will pull up on Bailey, pull her hair, crawl over her, and hit her with toys and she just lays right with him and loves it! Aaron walked across the room last night, but was being a little lazy tonight. When we tried to get him walking on camera he continued to lay down on the floor and roll over with Bailey.

We are sooooo lucky! Aaron is the happiest baby ever!

Me and My Fire Truck

Aaron's Aunt Hilary gave this fire truck to him for Christmas. He loves to play with it and store toys in the seat compartment. He has gotten big enough to sit on it and use his feet to push himself along the floor. He only goes backwards for now, but I could not believe how big he looked on it! As you can see, he is all smiles. Each day, we thank God for blessing us with our amazing son!

Aaron's First Big Boy Meal

Aaron is 9 Months Old!

Our little guy is 9 months old! Can you beleive it? Time flies by so fast. It feels like it was just yesterday we were holding the little man in our arms ohhing and awwing over him. Now, he is standing, trying to walk, and into everything! He is the light of our lives! There is never a dull moment and he always knows how to make mommy and daddy smile. He is eating some table foods and will try everything you are eating. He sits at the table and begs for food! We are still waiting for the first word and some dad gum teeth! He has been teething for ever, drool, chewing on anything, and pulling at his mouth; but still no teeth! Aaron is a HAM!

Aaron has really started to show his personality! He loves to talk, smile, and get into anything he isn't supposed to. His favorite thing these days is to get into the entertainment center and pull out all the DVDs. He looks at us to make sure we are watching him and then smiles as he does it! Mark and I are having the time of our lives and we cannot wait until Aaron starts walking. He is cruising around all the furniture very well and will stand on his own, but no steps yet!

Family Christmas

After Grandaddy Don's Christmas, my sister, nephews, brother-in-law, step-mom, dad, and my mom and step-dad all came to our house to have dinner and open presents! Aaron enjoyed pushing presents around the room and tearing off all the bows. He gets bigger and smarter everyday!

Aaron may be a future drummer. He consistently drummed on this can until the top was covered in dents and his arm was tired.

Aaron's First Visit with Santa

Mark and I took Aaron to see Santa. We went out to Grapevine Mills and found a great Santa. The line was quick. Aaron was great. He was very curious and couldn't stop staring at him and his beard! After walking around and doing a little shopping, we decided to try to get a better picture with him smiling. That was a huge mistake! As soon as I put Aaron on Santa's lap, he turned to me and started to cry. He was ok initially, then he was like I already did this!!!!

Aaron has started to walk along the cabinetsi n the kitchen! He pulls up on everything in the house and tries to do a chin up on the table! Below, he is eating Saltine crackers. Aaron is 8 months old!

Our little man is gettin so big, so fast! He is crawling very fast, standing on his own, and trying to walk. He cruises around the house using the furniture, tv stand, and anything else he can hold on to! Aaron wants regular food so badly. His mouth waters while we eat. He does have the little Gerber graduates snacks and Saltine crackers, but he still doesn't have any teeth so I am holding off on anything more. Mark and I are enjoying every moment!

Aaron's First Thanksgiving

Our First Family Trip to the Valley

Yes, can you believe it? Mark and I have been together for 9 years and this was the first time I have been to the Valley to meet Mark's extended family. I was so lucky to meet most of the family. They welcomed Aaron and I right in and made us feel at home! We can't wait to go back. After an 8 hour drive, I think Aaron did really well. We enjoyed the drive and had fun spending time with Aunt Sarah. While we were in La Grulla, where Mark's grandmother lives, we stayed at her house and enjoyed the roosters that woke us up daily! On Thanksgiving, we drove to Mark's dad's brother's house first. Beto and Veronica had made a wonderful Thanksgiving meal for all the family. The turkey was great and it was the first time I had rice with Thanksgiving!!! After lunch, we drove to Harlingen which is where Mark's mom's sister, Sylvia, lives. We enjoyed a second wonderful Thanksgiving feast there. All the family stayed there until the Cowboy game was over. Aaron was entertained by a cat, a nice walk, and a roll of toilet paper!!! He was such a good little boy the entire trip. The long car ride home was harder because I think we were all very ready to get home! It was overall a great trip and again, we can't wait to go back!

While I was cooking dinner in the kitchen, Aunt Olivia and Daddy were entertaining Aaron and when I looked over at him, he had the biggest grin and the monkey attached to his back. He crawled around the kitchen with it on his back for a while! They can do the smallest things to make you smile! He is just what I need when I get home from a long day at school!

Brady Comes to Play

Since Hilary went back to Irving she has been a little on the busy side, so I enjoy anytime I can spend with Brady! She was going to the Volleyball banquet and had asked Olivia and I to watch Brady for a few hours! It was great to see him play with Aaron. He kept trying to play ball with Aaron, but it seemed more fun for Brady then Aaron, it kept bouncing off Aaron's head!!!

Brady had a great time playing with all the baby toys!

I think the boys had more fun in the bath than playing with the toys! Aaron and Brady both love bathtime!

Aaron's First Boo Boo

Yes, our 71/2 month old is pulling up, trying to stand, and yes, trying to walk as well. When I picked him up at Donna's today, she told me that he was trying to pull up on her cabinets, and wasn't close enough so he slid down with his forehead! I know, I know, it won't be that last either. This is just the beginning. He is doing things so fast. All he wants to do is stand and try to walk! The little red scratch/bump in the middle of his head will mark me for life!

Happy Halloween!

Our little man is the cutest monkey ever! These are some pics uncle Lee took in our costume! He is crawling and sitting up very well! Our little man was sick last weekend with a horrible stomach virus, but he is getting back to his old self! Aaron's 1st Trip to the State Fair of Texas

Aaron, Mark, Olivia, and I went to the fair this year. Aaron had a great time! He really wanted to eat all the food. As you can see in the pics, he really wanted daddy's turkey leg. He loved being in the big boy stroller and watching all the people and rides! I hope we get to take Aaron every year so he will learn to love the fair and the FOOD as much as his mommy and daddy do!

Aaron and Brady Going for a Ride!

Brady, Ryan and Hillary came over to play and have dinner one night. While we were waiting for dinner we decided to take the boys for a ride. Since the other Hilary isn't a good bike rider I was chosen! The boys weren't real sure about being in there together in the beginning, but as you can see by the end of the ride the loved it! Aaron is 6 Months Old

We took Aaron to Kiddie Kandids to get his 6 month pictures taken this weekend. He was so good. Everytime the photographer looked at him to take the pic he smiled. It only took her 15 minutes to get all these great shots. I say this everytime, but I cannot believe how big our little man is getting. Everyday he is starting to do something new. He now sits in the high chair when we go out to eat, talks all the time, and scoots all over everywhere on his tummy. I could have ordered thousands of copies of these pictures, they all turned out great! I still have trouble believing Aaron was born 6 months ago. Mark and I are the happiest parents on earth! Our little man is becoming a big boy already!

Aaron's Bike Mobile

Mark and I had been wanting to find a way to ride our bikes with Aaron. Mark looked at these little cart things and they were like 500 dollars. It just so happened, that on Saturday Mark was on his way out and saw a garage sale that was selling one of these for 40 dollars. Mark snatched it up quick. Aaron loves to be out side. He absolutely loved riding in this. He loves chewing on straps and this thing has a ton of them.

Aaron is 5 months old!

Visiting Aunt Brooke, Uncle John, Will and Jake

For the first time since Aaron was born, we went to visit my sister and her family. Aaron was so good. He slept almost the whole way there and did sleep the whole way back. Will and Jake were so excited to see him and wanted to do everything for him. Jake called him, "Captain Chunk" and Will wanted him to play with him. The boys were very helpful. Aaron took a ride on the ranger, watched Daddy fish, and enjoyed being outside! Brooke and John took him swimming. He loves the water. I know Aunt Brooke was thrilled to spend the day with Aaron!

Aaron is 4 Months Old!

Aaron turned 4 months old yesterday. I cannot believe it!!! We went to see Dr. Heller today and he looks great. He weighed in at 18lbs6oz, and was 26 inches long. He is 95 percentile in height and 90 in weight. While we were there, she said we could start giving him the stage one veggies and fruit. So, tonight he had his first taste of green beans. He really enjoyed them! We can't believe how grown up our little boy is!

L7 Dinner Party

Aaron Starts to Eat Oatmeal!

Aaron is getting so big. He is getting to be so much fun. He was starting to be very hungry and waking up early in the morning, so we decided to start giving him oatmeal. He was a little shy at first, but by the end of the feeding he was opening his mouth and loving it. In fact, throughout the pictures you can see he gets upset when I cleaned him up and he was done!

Aaron's 1st Fourth of July

Aaron, Aunt Olivia, Uncle Tony, and I went over to The Boozer's Casa for great food and fun. Unfortunately daddy was working, but we sent him lots of pics. We had lots of fun. I do have to give Hilary some credit for making some great barbecue and baked turkey legs. This was the 2nd annual Boozer 4th of July Bash.

Uncle Tony's Birthday Dinner

Mark, Aaron, Olivia, Tony and I went to dinner for Tony's birthday. We went to a great little restaurant in Irving called Villas. It is new, and wonderful. We had a great time and Aaron enjoyed it as well.

Aunt Brooke, Uncle John, Will, and Jake Come to Visit

The Brock Family was coming into town to celebrate their anniversary and decided to stop in and see Aaron. They haven't seen him since we were in the hospital. My sister's heart was breaking not being able to see Aaron, but I am glad they came to visit. I cannot believe how big my nephews are getting. Grandaddy Don Day

Once a month my grandmother has a Daddy Don Day, which is lunch and visiting at their house. It is an awesome idea to get the family together once a month. Mark and I haven't been since before Aaron was born, so we decided we really needed to get over there. My grandfather, Aaron's great-grandfather is a wonderful man and great with babies. Aaron adored him. He just stared at him the whole time.
