Aaron's Nursery

Here is a picture of Aaron's bed. The bedding is being made by Dawn McLain. She still has the curtain, diaper stacker and toy bag to finish. Isn't it beautiful!
This is the bumper pads from the inside. Notice his little stuffed longhorn his daddy caught for him at the fair this past year!

34 Weeks and Counting!!!

Well I got a little grief about being so behind on my blog, so here goes! We are 34 weeks and counting. Aaron and I are both doing great. We go back to the doctor tomorrow for our check up. After having all of my showers, we are very close to having the nursery and Aaron's play area ready for him to come home! Mark and I cannot wait to meet our little man.

Here is my sister and I at my family shower that my sister threw for me on January 20th. Wow, who got the looks?

Hilary, Carolyn, and I at my school shower, which they had for me on February 12th. It was nice to see that I do have friends that I work with!

This is the awesome cake that Olivia had at the showers she had for me last Saturday! Isn't that cute!

Olivia and I after several Mimosa's on her part! Look at that smile!

The Lucky 7 Crew came back together once again for the friends shower that Jennifer held for me yesterday! Look at all the babies. Avery 5 months, Luke 9 1/2 months, and Maddie will be 4 on Sunday. Who will be next after me?
Thank you to all my family and friends who joined us for the celebrations! I am very thankful to have such supportive friends who are so generous and loving!

31 Weeks Today!!!!

As you can see, Aaron is showing off his guns!

Wow! Whose nose do you see? Daddy's we think! Isn't he adorable!

Well we are all doing great! Last Saturday, Mark and I went to our Prepared Childbirth Class. It was very infomative! On Sunday, my favorite sister had a baby shower for me at my house. It was great to see all the family and visit for a while. Aaron got lots of cool stuff from his registry! That night, I started to have some severe back pain. Monday, we went to see Dr. O'Neal and he said my uterus was tilted to the left instead of the right, therefore putting pressure on my sciatic nerve. He then referred me to a chiropractor. I was going to wait a couple of days to go, but the pain was so intense I couldn't sleep and had trouble moving around. I went to the chiropractor on Tuesday. This was very helpful for me. I now have to go back twice a week for the next two weeks to relieve the pressure on my sciatic nerve.

On a good note, we also went on Monday to have a 3D/4D sonogram done. That was an amazing experience. Mark and I both were thrilled to see what Aaron will look like. He was moving so much and my placenta is anterior, so it took a while to get him to look at the camera, but here are some pics the great Aunt Olivia scanned for me! Only 9 more weeks to go. Mark and I are awaiting his arrival more than we ever thought we would!

Dreams: Real or Fake

Well we are now 7 months pregnant. Mark and I went to the doctor last week and heard Aaron's heartbeat. Everything looks and sounds great. Mark has the nursery all ready. Dawn got the fabric for the bedding and she is beginning to work on it. We are so blessed to have the McLains in our lives. Mark and I are getting anxious to meet Aaron. We are both dreaming about him on a regular basis. We both had a dream this past week that Aaron was born and he was a she! We still called her Erin, but she had a blue room with firetruck bedding. We will be happy with a healthy baby, we are just a little more prepared for a boy!

Busy Little Man

Well, he had the hiccups yesterday for the first time. My sister had told me that Jake had hiccups in her belly the entire time she carried him, but I never knew what to expect until yesterday. After I ate lunch, there was a consistent movement in my belly that lasted about 20 minutes. It was much different than a kick, in that it wasn't as hard. He is also a night owl. Last night he kept me from getting any sleep. As soon as I would get comfortable and still, he would kick me as hard as he could and wouldn't stop until I rubbed my belly. Then, today as I was reading a fabulous book, which was sitting on my stomach, the booked jumped. It was amazing to see. I hope Mark can feel him kick me soon. We cannot wait for this little guy to come into our world!

He is a BIG GUY!

We went to the doctor yesterday for our check up and we found out that he is in the 95 Percentile now and doing great. Apparently he is about 10 days advanced and already weighs 2 lbs. Doctor O'Neal said he looks great and everything is fine. We also decided to name him Aaron Saenz. After a long dicussion with Mark and family and friends, Aaron was the name of choice. Well at least for now!!! :)

Thanksgiving Pics

Here are some recent pics of our little guy and I. He is doing well. The first pic is from 21 weeks, the second and third are about 22 weeks. The second pic is Thanksgiving Day outside in the snow, and the third is from the night of the Kelly Clarkson Concert. He sure did enjoy that!
